I know it’s you.

By the time I open the door,

You’re gone.

I’m scared. But I open the door.

The moonlight gives you away.

I see your silhouette.

You turn back to look at me.

Our eyes meet.

I have a longing to run after you.

But I don’t.

You stand outside my door,

I sit inside awaiting your knock.
